July 14th, 2009 | by Kevin Hanson |Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun points out that the site that reported Mason’s retirement is owned by his agent, Lamont Smith. Reports of Mason working out at team facilities on Monday are false, according to Smith via Hensley.

Terrell Suggs, who was designated as the franchise player, previously said he and the team were “close” to a deal. However, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, it is looking unlikely that they’ll reach an agreement before July 15th.
That being said, Suggs is still optimistic that they can reach a deal by the July 15th deadline, per the Baltimore Sun.
Chris Steuber of Scout.com ranks the Ravens’ top ten prospects.
The Ravens are confident that their two remaining unsigned draft picks (Michael Oher and Paul Kruger) will be signed in time for training camp.
